Thank you everyone for your helping hands at the November ward activity. We were
able to accomplish much. The lap blanket, hygiene kits and journals were
delivered the next day to Janus House. The hair bows and books for the temple
were very much needed and appreciated. The Thanksgiving dinners were such a
blessing to 10 families. A special thank you for those who helped put them
together in the pouring rain. Three quilts were also donated to the Hough
Foundation. Open House Ministries also received two quilts. There are still
several pillowcases to be finished which will be accomplished soon and then they
will all be given to Randal Children’s Hospital (Emanual). The Primary children
wrote letters and made pictures for those serving in the military. They were
sent to an organization called "Thanks A Million", which then distributes them.
Again thank you everyone for all your help. It was so great to share in this
activity with our ward members all cheerfully working together. We look forward
to our ward’s continued service to those in need.
