This past St. Patrick's Day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a joyous occasion; the day our Relief Society was organized by our Prophet Joseph Smith. Our Relief Society Meeting Committee put together a lovely evening to commemorate our hertitage and family traditions. We started the evening with a progressive dinner that included fabulous varieties of food from the homes of all our sisters. It was fun to unite and get to know the sisters on an individual basis. We had a wonderful lesson on the blessings of Relief Society and heard fasinating stories of individual families, when and where they came from, settled and traditions or traditional food that came from our sisters family favorite or ethinic background. I believe each sister in attendance felt the bond that comes from sisterhood. We are sisters united to help bring forth the gospel in these latter days for our ward family and all those we come in contact with.
Thank you to our committee and everyone who contributed!!! We appreciate your time and talents. Each of you put your heart into this evening. Each of us felt your love through your service. On behalf of all us, THANK YOU!!!
