June Presidency Message

Dear, Dear Sisters!

What a precious, wonderful group of women you are! I am so pleased to call you my sisters. As we all teach or visit or serve each other and the many people whose lives we touch we continue to learn so much. Think of how many lives you have touched personally this past month, and multiply that by the number of sister our Relief Society represents. There are children, youth, families, young and old who have been lifted by the efforts we could provide. And how can so much be accomplished? One little act at a time.

There is a great story by President Monson in the Ensign this month. He talks about a little bird that was not as perfect looking as the others, but it had the best song. We may not feel we are as perfect as others in one way or another. But we all share the best song we have. And as we exercise our talents for loving and serving others, our song will continue to improve and those around us can all be blessed by our influence. May your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.
